The better therapies program is named after and dedicated to founder and C.E.O. Y. Maria Martinez’ father, Miguel A. Better, (who was the inspiration for the development of Respira Medical). We also provide patient resources which outline proper care, cleaning instruction, replenishment guidelines and group webinars to ease your therapy into your everyday life.

Our licensed Respiratory Care Practitioners are experienced in the use of the most sophisticated sleep units designed to treat patients with conditions ranging from simple Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA) to complicated Sleep Disturbed Breathing. Working with the physician, we strive to find the therapy best suited to treating the individual patient. From CPAP through NPPV, we are positioned to provide the proper sleep unit to treat any situation.

Our better caredirect division is Respira Medical’s CPAP/Bilevel supply replenishment compliance program to better manage your sleep therapy and help you obtain the best possible results and state of the art equipment.

Respira offers a wide variety of state of the art masks and CPAP replacement supplies such as masks, headgear, filters, tubing, and humidifier chambers. We also provide our patients with a proactive outreach program to remind you by email, phone or personal call when it is time for supply replacement. When requested, we ship you your supplies directly to your door with no shipping charge.

Masks, headgear, filters, tubing, and humidifier chamber replacement is recommended every 3-6 months and is covered by most insurances. Keep in mind, these supplies actually have a limited lifespan and should be replaced on a regular basis. If they aren’t being replaced, bacteria and mold can build up, your mask can get stretched out and your sleep therapy can be affected.

Our better pediatrics division is specifically designed to care for our youngest patients and provide support to their caregivers administering treatment of their specific condition. Our program educates caregivers and proactively assesses pediatric respiratory needs. Our pediatric home equipment includes but is not limited to home oxygen therapy, apnea monitors, pulse oximetry, and nebulizers.
